| The Natural Park of Albufera is located south of Valencia City. It covers 2,584ha and is separated from the Bay of Alcúdia by an 8 km-long sand bar. It is an extremely important wetland area with diverse species of flora and fauna (particularly waterfowl). | |||
| El Prat de Cabanes Natural Park | |||
| El Prat de Cabanes Natural Park is located on a coastal plain that runs between the town boundaries of Torreblanca and Cabanes. It is a wetland area and covers a total of 860 Hectares. | |||
| Parque Natural de El Montgó | |||
| The Montgo National Park is an isolated rocky ridge on the coast between Denia and Javea. The park rises to 753 metres above sea level and covers 2,150ha. | |||
| Parque Natural de la Sierra de Irta | |||
| The Parque Natural de la Sierra de Irta is located within the municipality of Alcala de Xivert, Santa Magdalena de Polpis and Peñiscola. Within the park are Templar Castles, Christian shrines and the remains of a Moorish village. The protected area covers 12,000ha. The Sierra’s cliffs lead down to the coast, making it one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas on the Mediterranean coast. | |||
